They sure dumped Lieberman for having a different opinion on the war didn't they? Your statement does not match the facts.

The baseline mantra of the DNC is this:
Pro-Abortion
Pro-Taxation
Pro-Welfare
Anti-War
Anti-Capital Punishment
Anti-Business

Any Democrat who steps outside that box is not going to make it into the big leagues.

No, that's just the precieved mantra by the opponents of the Democratic Party. Ask a Democrat on each of those issues, some you'll probably get the same answers, but most of those issues I'm sure you'll get different answers by a lot of Democrats. Generally speaking Democrats are together on being pro-choice, and anti-Iraq War. But there's too much bickering over gay marriage, taxes, healthcare, and other things.

The reason why Lieberman was alienated is because he alienated himself from the Democratic Party really far. I think it had more to do with the war than anything. Like I said, the Democrats are generally together on being against Bush's wartime policies...Lieberman isn't.

Good lord, what just happened to Lieberman?

HE STEPPED OUT OF LINE ON JUST ONE POINT OF THE DEMOCRAT'S MANTRA.

BAM! He's done.

Unbelievable. Do you just like listening to yourself argue - not realizing you're getting your butt kicked every time you open your mouth?

Well last time I check I wasn't opening my mouth but moving my fingers. And also last time I checked, I wasn't getting my "butt kicked". If insulting people, flaming, and spreading your unsubstantiated opinions around means "winning" a debate, then sure you win. But if we're talking proof and logic, well I'm not too sure you're excelling very well in that area, pilgrim.

And Lieberman didn't step out of line on just one point of a "Democratic mantra". He generally supports the President's policies on a number of issues. Its not so much of what Lieberman's policies are, its just that Lieberman supports the President and his policies. This is very unpopular in the Democratic Party as you could imagine. Being against the President isn't a 'mantra'. Its not like every member of the Democratic Party is given a memo of what to believe or what not to believe. If it works that way in your party then I can only send my condolences. Democrats usually tend to think for themselves and is probably why they're so divided.

Lieberman did NOT toe the DNC line. He's history.

Enough said. Case closed.

You lose. Again.

Simply restating your argument that I countered, and proclaiming "you lose" isn't a satisfactory rebuttal. Its sad you don't see that.

Also, is this what it's all about to you? "Winning"? I'm here to defend the truth, not "win" arguements.

The ancient Greeks used to say, "You shall know a man by the friends that he keeps." Given the nature of his friends and advisors, what are we to conclude about George W. Bush:
Stop the madness before us it stops!

Since when did being for a war against terrorists started by terrrorists become a litmus test for Democrats?
