Points: 17,949, Level: 85 | Level up: 86%, 401 Points needed | | The Verdict is in: 2006 Election is about Iraq Dear Patriotic citizens,
Sen. Joe Lieberman's defeat in yesterday's Connecticut primary shows that where you stand on the Iraq quagmire is becoming the defining issue of this fall's election.
There are other candidates – Democrats, Republicans and independents – campaigning on an "Out of Iraq" message. Your promise of support will give them courage to keep this election focused on the most important issue of our generation. http://action.truemajority.org/campa...war_candidates Lieberman's incumbency and his huge campaign war chest couldn't make up for his blind support of the war and the administration behind it. Now Connecticut has a Democratic nominee who thinks the war should end, and he is headed for victory in November. We can have more of these candidates, if we get behind them. No more FEAR MONGERING! "Why of course the people don't want war ... But after all it is the leaders of the country who determine the policy, and it is always a simple matter to drag the people along, whether it is a democracy, or a fascist dictatorship, or a parliament, or a communist dictatorship ... Voice or no voice, the people can always be brought to the bidding of the leaders. That is easy. All you have to do is to tell them they are being attacked, and denounce the pacifists for lack of patriotism and exposing the country to danger." ~ Hermann Goering, Nazi leader, at the Nuremberg Trials after World War II The LIES are seen now! "The lie can be maintained only for such time as the State can shield the people from the political, economic and/or military consequences of the lie. It thus becomes vitally important for the State to use all of its powers to repress dissent, for the truth is the mortal enemy of the lie, and thus by extension, the truth becomes the greatest enemy of the state." ~ Dr. Joseph M. Goebbels - Hitler's propaganda minister

This Lamont is just another Howard Dean with just enough fanatical following to win a primary but not enough to make him the real deal. When the entire state turns out in November, you are going to have a very big surprise. Lieberman has more than one issue in his bag and Lamont is a one issue candidate. Him and his little fanatics are going to lose in November. Count on it. |

Stupid, stupid Democrats. |

Its not like the entire party has a baseline mantra and anyone straying outside of that will be picked off. That sounds a lot more like the Republican Party. The Democrats cant stop bickering on rather pointless issues compared to other issues, and unite under the more broad and important issues of our time.
