The only time you see their white democrat faces in black churches is at election time. Funny how all those white democrats all of a sudden seem to like going to black churches right around this time every 2 years. |

Perhaps you have a point about the party favored, but I still think it is important to try to provide healthcare that people can get to and can afford. This program allowed people to access healthcare (in the form of flu shots) without having to go far from where they were already planning on being.
How would you recommend getting flu shots to underserved populations???

Hispanic and Black voters typically vote Democrat - OVERWHELMINGLY. You even admit that.
They were NOT targetting the white voters in those districts with the lure of free vaccinations. It even says they were luring black and hispanic voters. Period.

I am a white guy whose family is living in a predominantly black area. By choice.
And yes, if some largely white, Republican, christian district had promised free Bibles to all voters, this would be comparable. But until then, there's no comparison.
Why not just admit that they're trying to buy Democrat votes? | |
