The real criminals in the Vaerie Plame case is Robert Novak and who ever confirmed to Robert Novak, Valerie Plame as a CIA agent. The Republican Special Investigator knows who these people are. That's odd. It seems to me that nearly every Republican President (and Democrat) has in some way advocated lethal aggression on jingoist grounds. And perhaps nowhere was this more extreme than US hegemony over Latin America. It has advocated, installed, and supported rightist dictators after rightist dictators, and terrorist organization after terrorist organization. And nowhere was this perhaps more extreme than during the Reagan administration. The U.S. knew full well the capacity of the contrarrevolucionarios (Nicaragua's Contras were guilty of some of the most heinous crimes against humanity) and yet continued to support them despite their unpopularity and war crimes (everything from mass murder [including women and children], burning down villages, to systematic rape).

Oh wait, I forgot, it doesn't count as murder if it happens to colored people or leftists.
