End the DEM-REP Monoply on the U.S. Gov.
I bet you voted for a candidate because the other one repulses you more!(Lesser of 2 evils)
and YOU KNOW you CAN'T vote for any one else!
But forget about that for a second and ask your self these Questions!:

Al Gore had more votes and lost the last election!!??
In 1992 Ross Perot got 19% of the U.S. voters vote but got 0% of the votes that count!
(Electoral College votes)

This was all done legally ??? (Seems Fascist to me)
Ok, so the Dems&Reps made it so you can only vote for those 2 parties?
And still people don’t want to change the system?
I DON’T GET IT! This does not scare you? Is the caller there?
Or maybe your just waiting till they make it so you can only vote for 1 party!! Like China or Cuba!!!

Easy solution:

1) Eliminate the Electoral College. (Make your vote count)
2) Have Immediate Runoff Elections. (Make it accurate.)
3) Vote any non-Dem/Rep party. (Let them know we will make change!)

This way every vote counts, not just what party you registered under!

Peace

Welcome to the boards 3rd-party-bro(or sis?)! Feel free to introduce yourself.

I think you'll find a lot of support among the members here for your cause.

Welcome to the boards!

Your question, "This was all done legally?"...well yes. The electoral college.

You were off to a bad start in the beginning; but the (3) easy solution mentioned in your post does have some sense.

A good way to vastly improve the chances of getting a 3rd party in the mix is a voting system called Instant Runoff Voting. Please check out the link at the bottom of my post.

I vote candidates are subject to immediately recall, and I don't mean through impeachment. Candidates also have to prove themselves in communities, or in their work place, depending on what they're running for, and don't get paid nearly as much as they do now, but enough to live.

Actually, a problem with low pay for politicians is that then only rich people will be politicians, because then only they will be able to afford it. In ancient Rome, politicians weren't paid at all, for example.

A recall system would be chaotic as heck. The administration would change so often, that no one would ever be able to get anything done, for better or for worse.

That's a good point. Some people even say that our current four-year presidential terms are too short, so the president doesn't get anything done because he's preparing for the next election. I think four years is a good balance between too long and too short.

The term length and pay is not important! As things stand now
"ONLY A DEM OR REP" will be able to be in the White House! That's the
whole point of this post!

Is this the way US Politics should be?(Lesser of two evils)
Do you only want to have 2 choices of governing bodies?
Do you think only the Dems&Reps have good political vision?
If you wanted to, do you think you could vote them out?
Have they been doing a good job?
Do you trust them sending your money?
