good question CF. Whether it is done through charities or through a governmental initiative, is after all only an ADMINISTRATIVE decision that only affects HOW you live up to your duty as a christian. It has no bearing on WHAT you have to live up to.

The national weather service does not have records prior to 1880.

Care to prove your assertion? My bet is you can't.

Historical records prove that grapes had been grown in England hundreds of years ago. It is now too cold there. Also, historical records told of Norwegian or Swedish settlers growing crops on the island of Iceland. Today it is also too cold to do so. You don't need acurate weather measuring devices to prove this.

Well, with all the talk of global warming, the countries mentioned may yet produce wine again.

ANyone ever hear of Pineapple Wine?? Check this website out. Their wines are very good. I first tried their pineapple wine in 1984. I took a drive to their winery, and it is a very pleasant place. Worth the trip if you ever go to Hawaii and Maui.

There is no doubt that there are natural warming and cooling patterns on Earth. The problem we face today is how RAPIDLY it is occuring due to human influence. That is the danger.... to say it has been warmer in the past in regards to the global warming situation is completely meaningless (just like basing morality around the man-made bible ).
