Hi everyone,
I am currently involved in the release of documentary film A Crude Awakening which will be released in the UK (Curzon Cinema, London) on 9th of November. It is a really good, thought- provoking film and I would sincerely recommend it to everyone interested in politics, current affairs as well as to anyone who appreciate a good documentary film. It is described by press as the most important film of the decade and ‘must see’ film. It treats the subject of peak oil and changes we are going to face caused by that.
Actually, it’s a wake up call!

Meanwhile, this story appeared in the USA Today this morning. Since July 2000, I've cut my back my driving, but not due to the sky-rocketing prices of gas, but as a means to save wear and tear on my car. So since July 2000, I only have driven 6,000 miles a year. My 1997 Monte Carlo still has just over 95,000 miles on the odometer, 50K of which was done by me.
So whether the gas will be $2.00/pg, $3.00/pg or $4.00/pg, it only means that I fill up once every three weeks.
