So you actually RIDE on one of those black-smoke-belching monsters?

You're contributing to the destruction of the environment AND supporting terrorists. How "un-green" of you! Shame, shame.

Other than the people who are blinded by profitting dollars, we know this stuff is killing the planet and I feel it is acceptable to talk about ways to change the way things are and clean up our mess.
As I increase knowledge, I make adjustments in my life, and my planning for the future. It is going to take a lot more than just me to save every living thing on this planet.
So, if you want to talk about ways to improve things, hang out. If you want to resort to name calling when you have no position on my topic, then I will simply ignore you.
I'm not just WISHING for a better environment. I'm doing my part to help it happen.

However... I'm not arrogant and self-serving about it - like MOST environmentalists.

Public transportation uses less gas than the thirty cars that the people on the bus would be driving, and diesel is less harmful to the environment than regular gas. Also, a lot of major cities have started to adopt biodiesel.

OK then, what are you doing? You keep attacking people, but you haven't given a single example of how you're an environmentalist. You just make assumptions. So teethandclaws wants to save cute, furry sea otters? How is that arrogant and self-serving?

All you have to do is ready what I've already written.

Enlighten me. If I had gleaned that information from what you've already said, I wouldn't have asked.

First of all, I do NOT run around trumpeting myself as some environmentalist. I do NOT worship the environment, nor do I run around trying to get attention and adoration as some "super environmentalist". I am a steward...

- No vehicle I drive gets less than 20 mpg - including my truck I use to tow a trailer for my "part-time" business.
- No car I drive gets less than 30 mpg.
- I ride my motorcycle every chance I get - at 50 mpg.
- I ALWAYS burn ethanol-blend fuel.
- I ALWAYS burn E85 in my two vehicles that will run it.
- I walk a lot, and do not drive any more than necessary.

- Our home is "super insulated" and extremely efficient.
- We've replaced all available incandescent lights with energy-efficient flourescent lights - both at home and at my offices.
- We recycle everything we can.

That's a start...

Well that's great! Good for you. I am not being sarcastic.

Why exactly are you attacking everyone then? No one here claims to be anything that you said.
