There is little doubt that the world in general is more liberal than it was 50 years ago and beyond. Conservatives are simply roadblocks on the path to an ever more progressive and liberal world. What a sad existence.

Good point.

The thing that really got me was, you can't overdose on pot. I say legalize it and slap on a big tax so our highschool kids can get better lunches.

I do see eye to eye on one point of your argument beer is a lot more dangerous than weed, and should only be sold in limited quantities.

Maybe weed should be legal, but only weed. The other stuff is just to bad. It should also only be sold in very strictly limited quantities. And should be consumed on site so the people who buy it cant sell it to minors.

I think onsite consumtion (as in a pot bar)would be a mistake. Then the illegal trade will continue and people who are wasted will have to drive. I think it should be consumed at home only.
In addition, the amount of taxes that could be generated, from legalization, could actually get this country out of debt.
Politics, it seems to me, for years, or all too long, has been concerned with right or left instead of right or wrong. ~Richard Armour

A co-worker at a retail store I worked at smoked pot heavily when he was younger and now is unable to think critically and is unable to work for anything more than two bit jobs. For those of you that say its harmless, I say you are sadly mistaken. Legalization would be disastrous.
