| I though someone kidnapped you, Jefferson, and took over your screenname after that great post in legalize hemp. Glad to see your back. Anybody who reads this objectively would think that the solution would be to go after BOTH. Include THIS in the movie to be seen as well. But I think we both know that your comments here are meant as a diversionary tactic... Trying to slur those giving out a message you don't like, to invalidate the message, when it clearly DOES NOT invalidate the message at all... | Global warming is already killing off life on this planet, it's not a problem that can be dealt with later. Gore is an environmentally minded political figure and he's bringing it to the world's attention that we need to solve this problem. It's better than wanting to turn the earth inside out for oil. I think that the idea of playing this movie for the kids in the Hills is a good thing. Those kids have money to burn and may make a new trend of buying environmentally friendly products over traditional polluting products. Hybrid cars come to mind. Kids purchases have a big impact on our national economy these days, so if they make a big enough impact, maybe some good changes will come out of this and they will force our government to wake up and make changes too. Our Task must be to free ourselves... by widening our circle of compassion to embrace all living creatures, the whole of nature, and its beauty. 2. That being said, I agree with the rest of your post - as much as I hate to admit it. Now... you're a rich Beverly Hills teenager. You have a choice between these two vehicles. You "connect the dots." ![]() | ||||||||||||||||||||||

| That is not what all hybrid cars look like. Who cares if Gore is trying to keep his name in the public light...all public figures do. You just don't like Democrats. But it don't take much to get me by So just booze me up and get me high Ween | |||||||||||||||||||||

| I want link tv, a hybrid car and to see the movie. Right now, I'll have to settle for the movie. I'm going to try to get my friends together to go see it and get my kids to get their friends to go see it too. I think the message of the film is important and has to be shared, regardless of who is promoting it. Another 'environmentally friendly' movie I recommend (on Imax) was "Deep Sea", narrated by Johnny Depp and Kate Winslett. It was beautiful, showing some of the oceans fascinating creatures, with the very important message that the oceans are dying and we need to do something about it. Global warming does affect the ocean and all life within it and around it. The more I'm learning about the world, the less I see the borders that mankind has invented. The borders are an illusion. There is only one world and it is the only world we have. The sooner that all of humankind realizes this, the better for all the world. Our Task must be to free ourselves... by widening our circle of compassion to embrace all living creatures, the whole of nature, and its beauty.
