For more info, read "moral responsibilities of the consumer" at: http://www.boycottmadeinchina.org/en...burma_success/ I've gotten so annoying about buying anything made in China, even things like extra ice cube trays. I can't say it's not that I don't own anything that was made in China, but most of it comes from before I was aware of what I was supporting. I am totally making an honest effort even if it means doing without an item. One thing I have noticed, the prices on Chinese goods are usually pretty low compared to those made in other countries, (though often the quality suits the price). That would make it easier for the poor to afford things they would not otherwise be able to aquire, and in our material culture... Our Task must be to free ourselves... by widening our circle of compassion to embrace all living creatures, the whole of nature, and its beauty.
