We were talking about our better abilities to understand the information and the invention of the computer and doppler radar has given scientists far more to work with than in 1979.
In addition, accurate weather event records have not been kept for 'thousands and thousands of years'. Hundreds yes, Thousands no.

Yet you'll all still claim to know everything about the earth's environment thousands of years ago.

So which is it?

Please show me where I (or anyone else for that matter) said we know everything from the earth's enviroment thousands of years ago. There are somethings we know but far from everything. The whole point is that we have learned more in the last two decades about the weather than we did in those thousands of years. It always seems like you attempt to put words in other people's mouths when you have nothing else constructive to say and it always seems to be about a different subject. Truely a pattern has developed.

Back in the 70's I majored in Geology in college and we learned about global warming virtually in the first class, this was a 100 level course. It's common knowledge in scientific circles and has been for at least 100 years. Global Warming is a fact ok?

The Big Lie in this story concerns blaming the Warming on human activity.
The earth warms and cools naturally over and over in roughly 70,000 year cycles. Today's warming trend began 25,000 years ago. Within these long trends are many shorter ones from 350 years to a couple of thousand years each. The last short term cooling trend began around 1500AD and lasted 350years, turning around at about 1850AD. Therefore we are about 150 years into this short warming trend, eventually it will turn again and cool for a few centuries. This is what the earth does. Please understand this.

I believe that eventually this Lie will do tremendous damage to the environmental movement once the public finally becomes aware. But for now, the environmentalist are making alot of money perpetuating the Lie. I recently heard that sir Richard Branson will donate $3billion dollars to fignt Global Warming. There's one born every minute I guess.

The earth has been warming 0.8C per century for the last 25,000 years?

Sure temperature goes up and down but scientists are focusing on attribution rather than leaving it at that.

The contrarian movement seemed to survive their lies about CFCs not causing ozone depletion and tobacco not causing cancer. So im sure the environmental movement will survive their own lies about global destruction and floods.

Im also quite sure the earth will continue to warm as co2 levels continue rising, and it will be warmer in 2020 than it is today.

And by 2120 it will be cooling down again, as per the cycle.


Should we be environmentally conscious? Yes, absolutely! Should we be stupid and naive about it? No.
