If "complete disinformation" means somebody won't be back, how the heck do you have over 7,000 posts here?

The Big Lie in this story concerns blaming the Warming on human activity.
The earth warms and cools naturally over and over in roughly 70,000 year cycles. Today's warming trend began 25,000 years ago. Within these long trends are many shorter ones from 350 years to a couple of thousand years each. The last short term cooling trend began around 1500AD and lasted 350years, turning around at about 1850AD. Therefore we are about 150 years into this short warming trend, eventually it will turn again and cool for a few centuries. This is what the earth does. Please understand this.

I believe that eventually this Lie will do tremendous damage to the environmental movement once the public finally becomes aware. But for now, the environmentalist are making alot of money perpetuating the Lie. I recently heard that sir Richard Branson will donate $3billion dollars to fignt Global Warming. There's one born every minute I guess.
More Bullshit.
Back in the 70's, huh? Get an up to date education. The polar Ice caps haven't totally melted in millions of years. They will with this warming period, by 2050. If anyone can't see that this indicates our contibuting to the warming cycle they are in denial or just hate the sources(enviromentalists) and are one of those suckers born every minute. We are contributing to the natural warming trend. Our ice caps will melt totally in 200 years total(1850 to 2050). Please. Natural occurance my ass!
I have been told, here on DTT, my reliance on data from hundreds of years ago is stupid. Now it's ok to use this data because it is suppose to be supporting the anti-global warming nut jobs? Us not contributing to the warming trend is the lie.

Speaking of "eating shit like it was pudding"... I can think of no better description for what you and your ilk do with the crap from the Global Warming cretins. It doesn't have to be right, so long as you agree with it.

Arctic sea ice will very likely be virtually gone by 2050, but certainly the antarctic ice caps won't have melted much (too much of it in too cold an area...a bit of warming will not bring most of those temps in the interior above 0 to result in any melting).

Global warming is also melting the antarctic Ice. It may not melt as fast as the Arctic region but it is melting! Warming is already affecting this area at a alarming rate. Even if the ice breaks off each side of Antarctic continent both will raise water levels up to 20 feet each.

Antarctic's ice 'melting faster'

Guide to Climate Change
Hunting climate evidence
A team of UK researchers claims to have new evidence that global warming is melting the ice in Antarctica faster than had previously been thought.
Scientists from the British Antarctic Survey (Bas) say the rise in sea levels around the world caused by the melting may have been under-estimated.

It is thought that over 13,000 sq km of sea ice in the Antarctic Peninsula has been lost over the last 50 years.

The findings were announced at a Climate Change Conference in Exeter.

Rising sea level

Professor Chris Rapley, director of (Bas), told the conference that Antarctica could become a "giant awakened", contributing heavily to rising sea levels.

Melting in the Antarctic Peninsula removes sea ice that once held back the movement of glaciers. As a result, glaciers flow into the ocean up to six times faster than before.

The other region in the continent affected by the changes is West Antarctica, where warmer sea water is thought to be eroding the ice from underneath.

Several major sections of Antarctic ice have broken off in the past decade.

The Larsen A ice shelf, which measured 1,600 sq km, broke off in 1995. The 1,100 sq km Wilkins ice shelf fell off in 1998 and the 13,500 sq km Larsen B dropped away in 2002.

---------------------------------------
And here is a video link showing the meltage and breakup of the Larsen B ice shelf in three month time!!
Larsen B Ice Shelf Breakup (Animation, January - March 2002)

There is a lot more evidence out there too! Check it out.
