Isn't It Supposed To Be "Hotter Then Ever"?
Apparently the Global Warming zealots aren't as honest as they'd like us to believe.

The summer of 2006 was NOT the hottest on record - even though the records only go back to 1895.

Are we experiencing Global Warming? Yes.
Is it because of human beings? That's debatable.
Is it the disaster it's being hyped as? Not likely.

I saw pictures of the ice shelf around the Artic Circle (in the northern hemishere) a few days ago on NBC... they showed a NASA photo in 2005 and the same photo 1 year later in 2006. The second photo shows an area of ice melt greater than the size of Texas over a 1 year spand in time... Does this prove global warming? That's debatable.

It isn't debatable that humans aren't affecting temperature change on Earth. The debate is if we are affecting it "a lot" or affecting it "super a lot" (at least within the scientific community).

Those photos you saw Jaaaman... the more people who take them to heart that are skeptical the better. You really can't "liberally lie" ice away like that. Within 20 years polar bears may be a thing of the past.

Are "a lot" and "super a lot" scientific terms concerning Global Warming?

Yes, but in layman's terms

Perhaps the problem is people. Has anyone ever considered that the simple fact that there are more people today than there were 10, 20, 50 or even 100 years ago???? As far as the polar bear go, well, if there is such a dilemma concerning them why has there population here in Alaska increased and at its highest levels ever?????

Conservatism, I repeat is not an ideology. It does not breed fanatics....But if you want men who seek, reasonably and prudently, to reconcile the best in wisdom of our ancestors with the change which is essential to a vigorous civil social existence, then you will do well to turn to conservative principles

Now you've done it sarge. You've presented a fact that contradicts the hysteria mongers. Weather goes in cycles, always has and always will.
