Al "Pimp The Environment" Gore is at it again!

First of all, he lies by saying that the Toyota Prius is a "100 mpg car" when it is, in fact, a 50 mpg car.

But in addition, he goes around with an enormous motorcade that includes motorcycles, TWO limos, and a Dodge truck.

And, being the good Democrat that he is, he was STUMPING FOR HIGHER TAXES!

Who are we kidding here, Al? How 'bout trying a little "LIVE WHAT YOU PREACH!"?

Maybe those who support him don't notice the motorcycles, two limos, and a dodge truck. lol I really don't know...

I'm all FOR doing everything possible to improve the environment.

But when I go to meetings, I ride my motorcycle or drive my small fuel-efficient car. I also recycle.

Of course, I'm not a politician.

I believe that this article is an example of a fallacy of logic called ad homonem, arguing to the man instead of the issue, therefore, the argument it presents is flawed, (not that I totally disagree with the idea that he's being hippocritical, but that's a different point).

So then it's okay for me to drive all over the country with a HUGE black-smoke-belching Dually Diesel Dodge Truck - just because I happen to like driving it? Besides, think of the safety features!!!!

Or would it make more sense for me to drive a small, fuel-efficient Volkswagen?


Or would it be EVEN BETTER if these Messiahs Of The Environment PRACTICED WHAT THEY PREACH?!?!?!?!?!




Now... for the record, I think it would be GREAT if EVERY American was driving an electric car that was re-charged overnight by wind-generated electricity. But I'll be my bottom dollar that Al Gore does NOT drive an electric car - even though he COULD!
