| Oh, pooh, Jefferson. They aren't talking about Taylor losing his job, they are talking about changing his job title, which was given to him by the university. Instead of firing them, promote them to cushy, high end jobs with relatively little influence in order to remove them from the productive flow. They get to keep a good, secure job, and the real researchers can continue their research without any impediments.
