Same old liberal mantra...

If the wiretaps were illegal and/or un-constitutional, why hasn't Bush been brought up on charges, or impeached?

And "some legislation"? What the heck? That's NOTHING. I'm not letting you by with that crap!

Also, name me one single "civil liberty" you've lost as a result of anything Bush has done? Got one? Hey, I do! The last time I flew, they took some of the shampoo out of my shaving kit at the airport! IT'S BUSH'S FAULT!

Come on, come up with something that's actually real. Come up with something that the courts have found to be illegal. Come up with something other then what our liberal media has been spoon-feeding the ultra-gullible public.

KOS got caught spouting off crap she can't back up. Of course, that's pretty typical of what you do, so I can see why you're so determined to defend her. And hey - if she's gay - then there's NO WAY she could EVER be wrong about ANYTHING!

???

Why are you talking about a man feeling you up??? Clearly you pulled that out of your own imagination.

In any case, the proper way to respond when someone says something that you don't agree with is to ask them to back it up. It is poor form to change their words and attack them personally. I thought that you would have already known this from the basic rules of good manners.

In any case, Bush has stamped legislation that goes against the principles of the Constitution and has outright defied laws regarding surveilence. (sp?)

This is NOT a trait that I want to see in the leader of my country.

And yet again, I'm asking you to verify that.

I'm saying that you need to come up with something more than hearsay.

I'm telling you that, if you're going to make accusations like that, you better have some proof to back them up.

...and your "general" statements don't cut it.

That's just the wiretaps... Would you like to go into the Patriot act or later legislation? There is a lot of stuff out there.

Good. Finally. Thank you.

Now... you do realize that just because 1 judge rules them illegal does not mean it's a closed case, don't you? Subsequently, a "higher" judge threw out that ruling. A lower judge rules it illegal, then another judge throws out the charges.

Around and around and around and around it's gone - for years. And you know why? You know why there have been no convictions? BECAUSE THEY CANNOT EVEN BEGIN TO PROVE THAT THEY'RE ILLEGAL.

Whether you're aware of it or not, the government has been wiretapping for DECADES. This is NOT something Bush just thought up.

There's nothing new going on here. Nothing that wasn't happening under Clinton.

is Jefferson suggesting that if you don't get indicted for a crime, it's proof you are innocent?

No, dumb-ass, I'm saying that according to American law, you're not guilty until proven guilty.

Case in point: Just because YOU say that everything is "homophobia" and "hatred toward gays" does NOT mean that it is.

Just because something is alleged, doesn't not mean it's true.

But of course, in your little fairy-tale world, things are probably VERY different.

A Republican Congress had something to do with that... Impeaching him would have affected the political carrers of the party.

The liberties have not been lost, they have been compromised. That is the danger flag.

You clearly don't see things my way and that is fine. I do expect good behavior from you in any case.

You bring up the courts.. Do you feel that the court judgements are the highest law?
