Stupid People... 4th of July Edition!
I don't know what bothers me more about this picture... The poor choice of shirt this woman decided to wear (does she have any clue what the holiday is about), or the fact that a dipshit on the right is allowing our flag to touch the ground... Stupidity should be painful...

Fight the good fight, and die with the enemy's heart in your hand.

I still think it is cute that you care that much about a piece of cloth!

That girl in the shirt takes the cake though.

The girl in the shirt is probably too stupid to even know that is the flag of Britain.

I have dedicated my life to that piece of cloth... I would lay down my life for that piece of cloth. I love that piece of cloth, and all it stands for more than anything else in my life.

The Phelps family does not share your point of view.

I believe that you would (and do) lay down your life for what that piece of cloth stands for. However, I do not believe you would lay down your life for that piece of cloth.

I mean, look at that little flag. Imagine someone is going to throw it in the garbage. Would you kill yourself to stop that from happening? Surely you would not. Freedom and equality are important, but that colored sheet of fabric is not.

So I do not care whether that guy lets the flag touch the ground: not even a bit. Let him burn it or step on it if he wants. That doesn't affect me or anyone else. It's just symbolism. And really, I don't see how letting the flag touch the ground is even negative symbolism. It's just some custom that someone made up. The flag is still completely intact even after touching the ground.

As for the shirt, well I have to admit that she's probably wearing it out of ignorance. I mean, it would be rather strange if she were implying that she wished the British had won the American Revolution. But I suppose it is possible.

It's a great flag.

Remember that Brits were fighting on both sides of the War of Independence, but the French only fought on one side.

Brits drafted the Constitution, provided the language and the basis for the American legal system, among numerous other major contributions.

The Americans liked our flag so much they copied the colours for their own flag!

The Shirt is just pathetic...not the meaning of the shirt but why the hell would a person where a British flag on the day we liberated ourselves from British occupation.

The Flag issue im agreeing with Jax.
While I repsect the flag and what it is worth....a little kid letting a flag touch the ground is something I see too little to go balistic over.
