There is little doubt that the world in general is more liberal than it was 50 years ago and beyond. Conservatives are simply roadblocks on the path to an ever more progressive and liberal world. What a sad existence.

How do you feel about public nudity?

Even in a "free" society there are restrictions based on commonly held societal norms and values.

Part of freedom is respect for the sensibilities of others.

Do you think it would really be respectful to have "F-bomb & Bare Titties T.V." 24/7 on every channel?

There you go, Mouse. We must be respectful of the sensibilities of others. After all, no two people can claim that they believe in the same set of values. I don't believes this interferes with anybody's freedom; I just think it is good manners. Would you agree that saying the F-word would be inappropriate in church? Would any of us actually engage in behavior such as this under the guise of "freedom"? I can tell you for sure that I would not. I'm not overly religious, but I would not conduct myself in such a way.Again- we must be respectful of other's sensibilities.

In countries where there are no or little restrictions this DOES NOT HAPPEN. I don't think it would happen in America either (at least I hope not).

You don't need to censor if you have good sense.

Hevusa, you're "thinking" and "hoping". The truth is, these things are happening. This is why radio and television stations have been and are fined by the FCC. Not everybody has that same sense of "decency". By the way, Garysher was correct in his earlier post. Thanks, Gary!

They are not happening. I can't see the naked body on NBC nor can I hear all the words a human is capable of saying.

IT IS NOT HAPPENING!

You're talking about network television. You are correct; I've not seen it there. Why? Because it will be cut, the station would be fined, and lose sponsorship. Just ask MSNBC after the Don Imus fiasco. No naked bodies, but the same rules apply about censoring what is put before your audience. Good sense and respect for the sensibilities of others was needed. Who really lost in that mess? MSNBC. Why? Market share and lost money from sponsors. Who knows if they'll ever get it back. Who came out ahead? I think only that clown, Al Sharpton actually did- and you know how I feel about him!
