.

Funny you should say this. In West Hollywood a few days ago some people driving down Santa Monica Blvd, stopped their car beat the crap out of a gay man they saw and got back in their car and drove away. It was completely random or was it considering WeHo is one of the largest gay populations in the country. Whilst they are not sure why the men did this to the young gay man walking back home after work they did mention God whilst beating the crap out of him. Perhaps they read they should do this in the Bible. Not simply a magazine

Perhaps any scripture that says we should harm others, for any reason, should be removed from the bible. Or maybe we should actually stone people to death for wearing two different cloths. Or burn them for planting different crops together. Please.

Read my previous posts regarding the mechanics of sex that might be common between homosexual and hetrosexual couples... then get back to me.

mytmouse wants to make a statement that homosexuals "mimic" heterosexual sexual intercourse - which is of course absurd. Homosexuals have sexual relations the way homosexuals have sexual relations - there is no 'mimicry' about it whatsoever. Quite the contrary - most homosexuals I've known in my life have no interest in having sex that remotely resembles heterosexual intercourse.

I wouldn't blame the Bible for a few assholes who obviously didn't read the important parts -- if that's really the case.

Nor do I blame a believe in God for some jerks who claim to have it.. and then go do things like that.

Or, to put it another way, should we hate America because Timothy McViegh claimed it was his love for this country that inspired him to do the Oklahoma City bombing?

no (even though many people in this country hate Iraqis because of what 13 people did on 9/11/01).

however, it should have made us even MORE clear about the differences between nationalism and patriotism - and it didn't. Which is exactly the weak link that Bush & Co. exploited.

Then they really ARE missing out.

Anyway, Tristan.. please, if you're going to try to make my arguments for yourself... please make them ACCURATELY.

I said that the mimicing of intercourse is ONE option for homosexuals... not the ONLY one or that ALL homosexuals do that all the time.

sorry - I guess I misunderstood.

so - in other words - if it didn't really mean anything - and that it was just one "option" that gay people have - it wasn't necessarily meant to be illuminating anything? - was it just a kind of 'sting' meant to be insulting but not taken seriously?
