It was never meant to be insulting.

Of course you would think that, because the condition of homosexuality has programed you to think that way.

the condition of heterosexuality has you programmed to think that your way is the only way.

thousands of years have proven you wrong.

Tristan.. to me, it's like trying to deny a pink elephant standing in the living room is really a pink elephant or actually inside the house.

There's a clear REASON I would be horny toward women in general.. and hope to find love and passion with one woman in particular.

That you, a guy who -- at least according to your photos -- seems pretty good-looking and healthy would, even after having the opportunity to have sex with a woman, would still prefer another man just doesn't seem even remotely normal.

And the gay community and many "experts" seem to be going to great lenghts to turn reality on its head in that regard. I find it mostly amusing, sometimes more than a little annoying.. but never really "dangerous" or threatening.

So long as freedom of speech, religion and expression remain intact.. the hardcore religious conservatives on one side and the P.C. thought police on the other can bluster all they want, as far as I'm concerned. I just think they both need to be gently reminded of their bounds every once in a while.

Again, my overall reaction is still, "so what?"

It's not terribly normal for one to talk to oneself.. but I do that all the time.

LOTS of things in this life are strange, non-sensical or abnormal.

It's no reason to hate people.

It is normal, just as being left-handed is normal, blue eyes is normal, and many other genetic differences in people are considered normal.

"Jan. 28, 2005 - The genes a man gets from his mother and father may play an important role in determining whether he is gay or not, according to a new study likely to reignite the "gay gene" debate.
Researchers say it's the first time the entire human genetic makeup has been scanned in search of possible genetic determinants of male sexual orientation. The results suggest that several genetic regions may influence homosexuality."

Is There a 'Gay Gene'?

I have never said that homosexuality was normal. Normal is simply a word that illustrates the most.

However, when this discussion arises, it INEVITABLY attempts to equate normal with good.

Being left-handed isn't "normal" - but it's certainly not wrong.

ach

Jon talks to himself CONSTANTLY.

I'm always asking him to repeat himself - and the reply is inevitably "never mind - I was talking to myself."

He has a constant monologue going from breakfast to night LOL I call it The Insane Professor Syndrome

I simply cannot understand how some people can get so damn bent out of shape over other peoples sex lives. To my mind, there are only three times you intrude in the sex life of others:
1. Rapists
2. Child molesters
3. People who mean their 'I love my dog' bumper sticker to be taken literally.
Bother not the cat. For they are sneaky and will piss on thy keyboard.

You and my husband have something in common.

I have a tendency to 'think aloud'. I usually mumble it, but then my husband says 'What?' I answer "I wasn't talking to you". He then gets miffed and says "Well, I'm the only other one here". At that point I usually flip him off.

Well, Tristan, I think it's a bit more profound than being left-handed... but, suit yourself.

As far as it being right or wrong... well.. (shrug) I don't know. I know religion in general and my religion and particular say it's wrong. But then again, there's maybe a passage or two on that. But when it comes to not judging others and being kind... well there's VOLUMES on that... from all the prophets.

I'm getting to the point in my life and spiritual journey where I would rather be kind than "right".. if that makes any sense.
