Actually no I cannot agree with that. I knew some Iranians. Brothers that had came here to live. One was a basically pleasant fellow. The other one, I personally would have not turned my back on.

A few Iranians do want peace. Realizing the nature of hatred that has been taught through the generations we cannot change that from our position as simple citizens here in America.

It is like my husband and you will probably agree too. The culture is totally different. Over there if you are on a tour bus see five men along the road looking as they are in distress squatted along side the road. It is best to look the other way for their taking a crap.

If you get a little farther down the road and see a man beating a woman violently again look the other way. If you interfer the whole clan would make you the next victim of violence.

Enemies come from within states and nations. We have many in our own country. The best we can hope for in these foriegners coming here to speak at the UN is withhold any privileges to those who are enemies of the state. As Americans are considered enemies there and those there that do not consider Americans the enemy are normally murdered.

why let him speak to the UN? There is a disconnect. the president says he is about to go nuclear and bomb Israel. so why then is the president allowing him to address the UN if he is such a terrorist?
As the song says, it was a love T.K.O.

Thank you for your answer. I am glad to know that someone experienced what life was like in Iran.

America host the UN. As a host you let even those creeps you do not like come to the events.

Well, the UN and Columbia University are entirely different venues.

And the US is abiding by the UN Charter by permitting Ahmadinejad's entry into the US to speak at the UN as a diplomat for Iran.

And, I think there might exist the need for some compromises on the US's part to handle international issues on the world's stage; the UN.

Wasn't that the same rule that applied for Fidel Castro's visit to the US?

Yeah.

The US does try to use the UN if it can as a venue to sort out International issues...at least up to a point.
