Yeah, like PN said. Nobody' trying to deny the crimes exist. We, or at least I, am arguing that "hate crime" laws don't do anything that could not be done better previously existing laws and other mechanisms.

Again, case in point, it took no "hate crime" law to put Matthew Sheppard's killers exactly where they belong. In prison. For life.

Also, the only reason the one didn't get lethal injection is because Sheppard's parents specifically requested the state not seek the death penalty.

I don't consider a guy being pissed about being "tricked" into sleeping with a dude "homophobia". If I wanted to sleep with a dude, I'd go to an airport restroom and get one.
5 hours and death? No. A supreme as kicking though? More than likely.

I still don't see how that happened though. The "tricking" that is.

I don't know what case knot is referring to. My joke was not meant to make fun of someone getting beaten to death. It was more of a personal joke to you.

I missed the post. I had no idea someone named Gwen was beaten to death. The Gwen Stefani reference came from an earlier discussion we had in regards to her plastered down hair and small breasts.
