Level up: 7%, 24 Points needed | | Freedom Of Speech Is A great Thing Until You Use It. A quote from a mad man yet unquestionably true. Charles Manson.
If i was to stand on a box in town and declare i hated Blacks, Mulsims, Sikh's and i wanted to piss down gordon brown's throat i would be arrested in seconds,,, now why.. the thing us "westerners" never shut up about is were free were free well were not no one is free freedom is choosing to live down your local woods or maybe a park but not a chance a local council would move you on thats not freedom, freedom is the ability to snort a line of cocaine and not worry about been incarsirated for 10 years, obviously we need fundemental laws to keep a nation stable but is there any need for egnough cctv in my quaint little town that if i went up town every 2 days for half hour over a 3 week period they'd have egnough footage of me to make a trilogy of 3 hour films....yet were meant to be free....i question freedom, why isnt my dog allowed to shit in the street?who claimed that street their own, why arent i allowed to smoke in a pub.....simple answer is we believe we live in a democracy but we don't the only thing democratic about us is we have the choice of who to bring to power, but even that isnt freelike in america you only have 2 candidates to choose from a populous of 250 million people + rant over. |

Level up: 53%, 72 Points needed | | But you are not denied the right to speak your mind. Yes you could get up on your soap box and say whatever you like, you could say you hated whomever, and more than likely you would not be arrested, unless enough people complained to the police that you were being a public nuisance. Part of living in a society is obeying the laws, and well yes you will be arrested for snorting a line of coke, you can still do it. Drugs were made illegal because of the effects that they have on people, a part of the mechanism to protect you from yourself, not to mention me and anybody else who might come accross you while your mind is altered.
Your dog can't shit in the street because it is rude, there other people that live around you and they may not like it. Part of being free is respect the rights of others, which means there are limits to your freedom. You are free to the extent that your actions do not injure another. WAKE UP!!!

Level up: 57%, 187 Points needed | | Free speech is free speech, breaking the law has consequences. Maybe we should worry about getting rid of the laws against victimless crimes. If you want to snort a line of coke, go ahead, but don't drive. You are well within your rights to react to unnfair laws with civil disobedience, but be prepared for the consequences. I can say anything I want, that is protected, but I'm not free to break the laws I don't believe in, without suffering the penalty. |
