Every single argument in this thread ends up going to the dogs. Each and every one eventually ends with Foundit, Tristan, me, Jaaaman, and Garysher ultimately getting into a lengthy, circular debate. At this point it doesn't even matter who's right and wrong. Is there any way to break up the monotony?

All the debates that have been here are civilized and reasonable ones until Garysher(usually) throws out a bigot or stereotypical remark that offends and angers nearly everyone here and then the war begins.

Arguments are circular because almost EVERYBODY (not just garysher) on the anti-gay side chases their tail in trying to justify their discrimination.
If people want to say their religious or moral system is against it, fine.
You don't like the "gay lifestyle"? Do not live one. Simple as that.

But when they try to espouse it as a standard which is justified and should be followed in legal practice, it just falls apart due to the hypocrisy and inconsistencies with the rest of the system.
There is always some point where their arguments just fall apart and they drop the response argument. And it becomes circular when they later come back to argue the original point like it didn't already lead down the path of being disproven.

Well, you got that right, but if I'm gonna hear one more recycled argument from him or one accusation of bad debating even when he refuses to answer questions posed to him, I'm gonna scream.

Well, right now he's busy elsewhere, him and his bud Piney...He's been on the yahoo boards today calling me fat, threatening me with lawsuits, and creating troll IDs of another member pretending to be them then calling me some pretty...choice names...Not including accusing me of doing some pretty nasty sexual things as well.

Gary's usual. Since he's temporily banned here today, he's taking his frustrations out there...And from what I've been told by a couple of others...Some pretty vivid wording to boot. Wish yahoo moderated their boards as well as the DTT staff moderates here.

But don't worry. His arguments there are also pretty circular as well.

What really slays me is if you call him on it on THIS forum, he'll claim that's just somebody trolling him...

In fact, he's made that excuse regarding a variety of his claims / statements on the Yahoo! boards in the past.
Of course, nowhere do you see any garysher post contradicting the supposed "troll"...
