Yeah.
And if fxashun repeats it, he'll just have all the flaws of his argument pointed out all over again.
Then he'll have to ignore the people who ask him this and point out that...
And EVERYBODY will see him doing that. AGAIN.
And he REALLY doesn't want that...

There are no flaws in my argument. How do you allow people to marry that haven't been proven "normal" just not "abnormal" enough to effect their surroundings. My "theory" actually fits the APA statement just fine.

What do you call people who have no scientific or medical training, yet insist that they can diagnose a "condition" despite the fact that the scientific and medical experts unilaterally acknowledge it is not a condition?
I call them delusional.
Do you have another name for your condition?

And what do you call people with a condition that is totally at odds with their anatomy and can't carry on a decent conversation without getting stupid? If you were THAT normal we wouldn't be having this conversation and over half the country wouldn't feel even more strongly than I do that the homosexual crowd should NOT be able to marry. It's only the younger generation with their "gay-straight alliances" that are getting "reeducated" on "tolerance" which isn't "tolerance" at all, it's full blown "condone".

You insinuate that homosexuals are like pedophiles, and then you complain about the conversation getting stupid?
You're the prime reason it gets stupid.

In case you haven't read my earlier posts in this topic, I THOUGHT we got off to a great start. But..... I said nothing of the sort in THIS topic. But if you can't separate arguments from one topic to another then that's YOUR problem.

In this thread it wasn't pedophilia - it was beastiality.

If you can't validate what you write from one thread to the next, what is the point of taking you seriously? Every post is not an entity unto itself - your comments are part of your internet persona.

I think you need to reread my first posts in this topic. I was TRYING to be CIVIL. I think you'll quickly see who started getting defensive.

Additionally, I asked you to put me back on ignore because we just can't see eye to eye.

I said I don't HATE homosexual people. I just don't "get it" when it comes to homosexu-ality. Come on dude we can all be assholes or we can make an effort to just talk. Have a cup of coffee and a donut. And agree to disagree civilly.

I guess foundit got it right - you're the REASON the conversation gets stupid.

THERE IS NOTHING ABOUT YOUR FIRST POSTS THAT WERE NOT OFFENSIVE. There is no reason to take you seriously about anything.

I want to get back to having a civil discussion about why you refuse to acknowledge that your uninformed opinion is more valid than every legitimate major accredited medical association in the United States. Why would somebody with no education in the field be taken seriously over the experienced professionals in that field? In other words - why would we hire a deaf person who can't read music as our piano teacher?

But this topic should be. Read my first posts until you started doing exactly as I said. Mr. Sensitive. I think I went out of my way to express I wanted to be cordial. If that's not possible, then it's just not possible.

I have stated several times I am in favor of all the rights and privledges being given to homosexual people. I have never said they should suffer any abuse. But I get grief for saying that I think the word "marriage" should be saved for heterosexual people. If the couples were the SAME they wouldn't have different names. A man ain't a woman and a gay person ain't straight.
And the difference is much bigger than race.

Okay got a link that says "this is what causes homsoexuality" cause I ain't seen it. Until then, my theory, and my opinion won't change. And until then, keep me on ignore.

What would be even funnier is a gay preacher...Oh wait... they do that in some congregations...Talk about getting led to hell...LOL..

You can't be cordial, while calling people 'freaks,' 'friggin delusional' and 'hormonal mistakes.'

You want to be cordial and say all kinds of nasty things about gay people - and then get all bent out of shape when you're called a horse's ass in return.

Sorry - you can't be cordial while calling people denigrating names.

Of course, you knew that. YOu just wanted another reason to whine about gay people.

I think fxashun is beginning to see the difficulty we have trying to debate this issue with aggressive, quick tempered homosexuals like tristan, foundit, and many others who demand that we accept homosexuality as normal and perfectly ok.

It is true that the APA and the AMA no longer categorise homosexuality as a mental disorder, although this may be do more to heavyweight lobbying, as they have not come up with any rational explanation for its existence.

However, this does little to alter a basic human instinct about the purpose pf having sex organs and a sex drive, and the fact that homosexuality goes completely against that instinct.

As a wise man once said "we don't need a meteorologist to tell us when it's raining", and we don't need a bunch of so-called experts trying to tell us our instincts are wrong!

If only they would discuss this issue in a more civil tone, instead of living up to the homosexual stereotype, they may have a better chance of reaching some kind of acceptable middle ground. Not accepting homosexuality as normal doesn't mean we hate homosexuals.
