That, and of course maybe he'd let slip that if she nagged him, she should go to jail...

Odd comment to a happily married husband and father from a homosexual!!

I think you should avoid these knee jerk personal comments and try to address my assertion.

Gar, if you're so "happily married' then WHY do you spend so much of your time chasing gays on the internet?
CRAVING the attention of gays???
It's downright pathological!

Actually, I did.
Now if you only had the brains to recognize a response when you see one...

No. Completely on topic and a direct response to your claim.
You gave personal opinions regarding psychology.
I am demonstrating that the author of those personal opinions is not to be trusted, by demonstrating a history of bad judgment and gross examples where your "intuition" contradicted rational common sense.

Your judgment on what "psychology" is and how it can be condemned isn't worth a hill of beans.

Yet another non-sequitur avoiding my point.
Psychologists ACTUALLY STUDY gays. They know what gays are like.
This nitwit garysher can't even admit that homosexuality is NOT a choice.
Yet he pretends to know it is "raining", when psychologists who are ACTUALLY THERE STUDYING the situation say that it is not raining.

Apparently you believe women aren't capable of understanding men before they get married and just have to hope their husbands are not violent?

I don't share your low opinion of women.

And as you are a male homosexual, and I'm a happily married man, it's clear whose opinion carries the most weight

Psychologists ACTUALLY STUDY gays. They know what gays are like.

>>>>>>>>>>>>
How exactly do they ACTUALLY STUDY gays?

ANd how do they explain the defect in homosexuals sexual instinct?

This nitwit garysher can't even admit that homosexuality is NOT a choice.
Even your precious "experts" have not proven that homosexuality is genetic.

Even you seem to be saying that you would have sex with a woman if required.

You are so freakishly wrong about what people ACTUALLY think...
... which is bizarre considering how they often EXPLICITLY SAY what they think and you still can't get it through your skull...

... that it comes with no surprise that whenever you preface any statement with "Apparently you believe ...", you are habitually wrong.

I don't believe that.
I have explained repeatedly to you what I see as the problem.

Or maybe we should rephrase the issue...

Apparently you believe men aren't capable of understanding women before they get married and just have to hope that when the man starts beating on her, she won't kill him...

You say that, yet nobody actually values your opinion.
Nobody here respects you.
Odd, isn't it.

You put up a personae of a "happily married man", and still you're lower than the gay guy.
Must suck to be you...

I'm not going to nurse you through education.
You choose idiocy and ignorance. I'll not waste my time on explaining a scientific method you obviously cannot grasp.
But if you want to start someplace, you can start with the early studies...

Why do you ask such stupid questions?
Oh yeah. The point is NOT the question, but rather the SLUR that is insinuated in the question.
Cause you KNOW the answer has already been given to you, and you don't care how stupid you look by repeating the same crap over and over again, asking for information you have already been given over and over again.
Answers to Your Questions About Sexual Orientation and Homosexuality
Is Homosexuality a Mental Illness or Emotional Problem?

No. Psychologists, psychiatrists and other mental health professionals agree that homosexuality is not an illness, mental disorder or an emotional problem. Over 35 years of objective, well-designed scientific research has shown that homosexuality, in and itself,is not associated with mental disorders or emotional or social problems. Homosexuality was once thought to be a mental illness because mental health professionals and society had biased information. In the past the studies of gay, lesbian and bisexual people involved only those in therapy, thus biasing the resulting conclusions. When researchers examined data about these people who were not in therapy, the idea that homosexuality was a mental illness was quickly found to be untrue.

In 1973 the American Psychiatric Association confirmed the importance of the new, better designed research and removed homosexuality from the official manual that lists mental and emotional disorders. Two years later, the American Psychological Association passed a resolution supporting the removal. For more than 25 years, both associations have urged all mental health professionals to help dispel the stigma of mental illness that some people still associate with homosexual orientation.
I could ask why you believe it to be a "defect" in the "sexual instinct", but I know how that will play out.
You'll start claiming the purpose of the sexual instinct EXCLUSIVELY for procreation, and at the same time ignore "defects" in the "sexual instinct" that revolve around heterosexual oral sex, masturbation, birth control, etc, etc...

I already know where you'll flail and try desparately to change the subject...

It's funny how the anti-gay side plays this game.
You point out that there is overwhelming evidence of homosexuality being genetic...
... and on their side, they HAVE NO proof of their position...
And in some cases like Garysher, they can't even bring themselves to recognize that EVEN THE ANTI-GAY "experts" understand homosexuality is not a choice.

They can't counter any of that.
So instead, they'll insist on a standard they could NEVER even hope to get close to.
Definitive proof.

It's really quite pathetic when you realize that it's so easy to see through...

And the relevance of that to "genetics" is what?
Are you under some idiotic misconception that gays cannot have sex with women?
Oh wait. This is the guy who STILL can't wrap his head around the fact that gays can procreate.

I gave him an example of a gay person procreating, and he can't get it.
There is a living example of a gay person who has procreated on these threads, and he still can't get it.
