Yeah really. And it was like that in both the boys and girls shower/locker rooms. I didn't know that wasn't the norm.
Right now America spends $700 billion every year on foreign oil. That's our money going overseas when it could be staying here. We have to stop this.

Probably be like that when you get to Iraq. Bush showers - a bucket full of holes on a tree branch!

Let's hope that your employer has a good screening process so the other guys won't be hitting on you

No, I'll share a trailer and a shower/loo with one other man. We each will have our own bedrooms - with air conditioning.

Thank goodness. There I was thinking that some gay guy would have wanted a 6'6' 240lb athletically built black guy. Go figure. That's not what my gay friends used to say. Must be a regional thing.

When you were in the military did most people share your views on the homosexual policy?

My time in the military wasn't typical. I was a electonics tech so after boot camp, I spent the rest of the career in air conditioned dorms. The view of my peers may be quite different that those people who have to live in much closer conditions.

Honestly though, I don't think WE would have cared either way in those surroundings. It wasn't something that really came up. It was just assumed everybody was hetero.

if the 6'6" 240lb athletically built guy was such a sissy he was scared of a gay man looking at him surreptiously in the shower?

I doubt it.

you flatter yourself.

Bigotry is a social disease.

Legalized same-sex marriage almost certainly benefits those same-sex couples who choose to marry, as well as the children being raised in those homes. - David Blankenhorn is president of the New York-based Institute for American Values and the author of "The Future of Marriage."

Do you feel the same way about a guy looking at a woman surreptitiously in the shower?

After all you keep trying to convince us that we shouldn't care about the differences between the sexes
