I am DEFINITELY taking a condescending stance on hate. That is for fucking sure.
It is absolutely hate-filled when bigots want to prevent two consenting adults from loving each other.

There is little doubt that the world in general is more liberal than it was 50 years ago and beyond. Conservatives are simply roadblocks on the path to an ever more progressive and liberal world. What a sad existence.

as are most people.

there are a few inferior members of this forum who I have been forced to ignore who take great joy and delight in denigrating others. but most people have low tolerance for hate.

Conservatism: Self-centered mean-spiritedness fueled by ignorance and misguided self-importance.

Bigotry is a social disease.

Legalized same-sex marriage almost certainly benefits those same-sex couples who choose to marry, as well as the children being raised in those homes. - David Blankenhorn is president of the New York-based Institute for American Values and the author of "The Future of Marriage."

Funny thing is if I post anything like that I get banned - But you don't?

And who is trying to prevent "two consenting adults from loving each other"? Or did you mean having sex with each other?

How about a father/daughter, brother/sister?

I repeat what I said before

Why is disagreeing with the homosexual agenda any more "hateful" than your disagreement with all people of religious faith?

There is a huge difference between a passionate disagreement and being "hateful".

By accusing people of being hateful you are simply trying to avoid addressing the arguments being made.

No I don't think so. And as usual you present an analogy that does not correlate. There is no natural reason to keep women from voting or for feelings against interacial marriage. I invite you to come up with a reason to justify them, you know, since you brought them up. But, homosexuality has defect that renders it moot against nearly any other complex life form.
And by the way, that's not hate, that's a simple fact.

It will be defeated and love will prevail.

Honestly, I seriously hope that's not the case. That would mean that people have become as deluded as most homosexual people that I meet online.

You only belittle yourself when you compare the love between two consenting adults to your comments above.
No, I disagree. In fact you belittle YOURSELF when you make statements like that with nothing to support it. Anybody can toss out half-baked comparisons and insults.

I hope you aren't talking about me. I never said that two consenting adults couldn't "love each other". Just don't call the recognition of said "love" marriage.

Your inability to comprehend that, something which I have said soo many times it's crazy, goes a long way in "belittling" yourself too. The love that people of the same sex have may feel the same as any other love, but it's not the same. The reason behind it is empty and devoid of purpose. It strictly satisfies a defective urge.
There is no demonstrable difference between homosexuality and any other deviation.

Who the hell are you to define what marriage is? That is for churches to decide!

What the hell is two consenting adults getting married going to do to hurt your life personally??? NOT A DAMN THING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

That is what makes your comments so damn hateful... because not only do you have a disagreement about someone's private life (that has no bearing on your life and is going to occur regardless of what you think) but you want to dictate their lives to fit your image of personal freedom.

Totally anti-freedom and totally anti-love. Total bigotry (look it up)!

That is pretty damn unamerican to me but you are entitled to your opinion. You should NOT be entitled to prevent two adults from loving and marrying each other simply because you disagree with their personal life.

If that wasn't the case, we wouldn't be here. I thought "churches" were supposed to stay out of it. Even so, very few churches find homosexuality to not be a sin, and curiously those that don't find it a sin recently "reinterpreted" their religious texts.

A prostitute doesn't harm my life either, yet that's illegal. A zoophile doesn't hurt me either. It's still not something that I feel should be condoned.

I don't want to dictate anything. Just don't call your union a "Marriage". It's not. You can have unnatural sex with any one you want.

Send me a link. I have yet to see where the way I feel about homosexuality applies to bigotry.

"a person obstinately or intolerantly devoted to his or her own opinions and prejudices"
I am far from intolerant. But when I see the sky is blue, I don't need anyone to come and tell me that it's purple.

I disagree, I don't think you should be able to call the union "marriage". I don't care what you do otherwise. I don't think the miniscule number of homosexual people that actually WANT to be married should be able to dictate that we should change the age old definition to suit them. That's BS.

And that is what makes you a bigot. Look it up... I'm not trying to be mean but I don't really think you realize it yourself.

"Age old definition of marriage"... please... the definition of marriage is in constant change. Interracial marriage is now allowed and so is getting divorced.

Hell, I've seen it posted over and over again here that religion should have nothing to do with defining marriage. Have you changed your mind?
