Hmmm, isn't the case for Knot at all FX...It's because Knot is a woman, and you're a man, that you don't know/hear about such things within your own life...

Like men talking cars and sports, women tend to talk about illnesses or share among one another the ills of others....

So unlike you, the majority of women will know someone (or someone's family member) that has had a back street or at home abortion...Because women tend to share such things with other women in their circle.

It doesn't make our lives 'doom and gloom'...Just makes us much more informed/experienced in such situations. Cause just about every female you bump into, if they felt it was any of your business, could tell you a boat load of 'doom and gloom' stories they've experienced or know someone that has experienced...

Not hers, FX, not hers. Don't you ever hear about things like that in your hometown?

My hubby can recite injuries of his favorite football players like the pledge of allegiance, but has no idea that a friend, whom he knows well, had a pregnancy scare a month ago and threatened to 'throw herself off a cliff' if she was pregnant.

We adopted my daughter from China in 1997. It seems that most children available for adoption in the US have serious issues.

Adoption has always seemed like such a selfless act to me. So much better an option than abortion. You are to be commended, PN.

Well, who else would care for these Asian little ones, FX?

My neighbor adopted two girls from Yugoslavia ten or so years ago. Their skin is a little darker than my neighbor's, probably like Muslim in that region. I see them two girls playing basketball in the cul-de-sac.

The two girls are living a better life now than they would have had if they had remained in their home country. They have loving adopted parents, too.

Kind of like adopting a pet. They are precious. Every baby needs a home, no matter the color of their skin. They need to be cared for 100%.

I know there are people with health horror stories, hell I go to a dialysis clinic with people old enough to have known Moses, but damn. I don't know them personally to go around reciting their medical histories.
That crap is just depressing.

I'd be damn if I'd remember each illness and catalog them by severity like it seems Knot and Catus do.

All the more reason to give them a proper home and family.

Do any of you men ever wonder why there are more abortions then adoptions?

Maybe she should have jumped before she started screwing and cut out the middle man.
