Do you attend any church, Tristan?

I haven't attended a church service in years -- since the early 90s, acutally. But oddly enough, the last one I went to was Episcopol.
No complaints, it was a nice service.

Even so, I think if I were to be any kind of Christain, it would be Eastern Orthodox.

Good for you. Fellowship is important.

I don't attend communal worship near as much as I should. It's kind of difficult when only about a dozen people in your whole state share your religion... LOL... but I can't always use that as an excuse.

But still.. it would be nice. Oh well, I might be moving to a more populous region soon.

Our church is very well-attended - we're not a mega-church or anything - but there's usually a couple hundred on Sundays. And we have a lot of activities that are centered around the church - discussion groups, dinners, study groups, field trips, etc.

It's one of the more popular non-Catholic churches in the city. The Catholics are the majority I believe - in fact, the Knights of Columbus headquarters is here.

Cool.

I'm probably one of the few ex-Catholics you'll meet who isn't bitter about the Mother Church... LOL. I have nothing but good memories about it.

It's just that IMO, the Eastern Orthodox Chruch strikes the perfect balance between the Catholic tradition -- which IMO places too much empahsis on the station of St. Peter -- and the Protestant Churches -- which place too much of the teaching of St. Paul.

But that's just me.. and I'm not even a Christian anyway. I'm just saying if I was... I would probably be Eastern Orthodox.

But I do like to see others having a good worship experience, regardless of the faith.
