Exactly it's their own damn fault for getting sick in the first place.

If they had any sense they wouldn't be asthmatic or diabetic when they know they can't afford it. Stupid sods.

See there's no question that Britain is a far, far more civilised place than its wayward transatlantic red-haired step-child

Exactly.

The British NHS may not be perfect but at least it's there.

See we even help visiting Americans who can't get help in their own country to get better.

See our British NHS is for taking care of illegal immigrants and visitors!

At least we put caring for people ahead of making a buck.

Fancy that, Garysher extolling the virtues of tolerance and human rights in a country that affords gay rights.

Garysher, I am really lovin' it...

OhDear

Are you referring to me extolling the virtues of Britain vis a vis its commitment to providing healthcare to all its citizens and a few others too??

If so you are absolutely correct and I'm glad you're loving it!

I'm not sure what you mean by affording gay rights? Yes Britain allows civil partnerships between two people of the same sex, but they don't pretend it's a marriage, nor are civil partneships restricted to homosexuals.
