Because biology is not a system of government.

I imagine a small percentage of people might do that, just like a small percentage of people are already claiming to have been fired for being a woman, being too old, etc.

There are always going to be abusers of the system. That is not a reason to not protect the rights of a group of people.

The difference is that age and gender are very apparent, and stated by candidates on an application form. But homosexuality can be hidden.

How do you propose that employers be made aware of whether potential employees have homosexual tendencies?

And if they are made aware and still offer that homosexual a job, how can they later be accused of discrimination against homosexuals!

Face it Cyn - this Bill is unworkable.
