Being gay is different than transsexuals. Or so I've been told. But if you want to draw correlations I thought were previously refuted...I bring up this one.

And I can understand the logic behind Iran "curing" the transsexual "problem" with surgery. Makes perfect sense. Aren't transsexuals here fighting for the same "right"?

Somehow I really wonder how many "gay" men actually think removing their penis is the key. Do you hate your vagina and wish for a penis?

No gay man thinks removing his penis is the key, given a free society. Given a messed up society where being a man who loves men gets you killed, but becoming a woman who loves men gets you government assistance, well, do the math.

I might wish for a penis if I lived in a place like that. It would be preferable to death, but not by much.

I guess it all depends on what you think is "normal". If you live in a society that thinks same gender love is an aberration, and many societies do, then I guess you have to do what you have to.

Gay men cutting off their penis simply doesn't register with anything I've ever read anywhere about "gay" men. Most "gay" men are as proud of their member as a hetero man.

In Sweden they have legalized "my favorite subject". So the pendulum can swing far either way.

And we have discussed other societies that allow 9 year olds to marry. Hell in the U.S. the marrying age was as young as 7 at one time. And if we have schools giving 11 year olds contraceptives and other birth control without parental consent, why have a "age of consent" as high as 18. Kids are having sex anyway. Contradiction anyone?

Iran thinks that homosexual acts are heinous enough to be punishable by death. Isn't it that societies right to determine what is acceptable? It took an internal war in this country to abolish slavery, but that was after all the conflicts required to eradicate the original inhabitants.

We are in no position to judge Iran for choosing to deal with the natural human aversion to homosexuality in this way.

Or you could just buy a dildo.
I mean honestly, in our society we expect socially unacceptable sexual urges to find "other" outlets or risk incarceration. Why are homosexuals in Iran sooo much worse off?

And you could divorce your wife, and substitute your hand and a bottle of baby oil to provide you with the same lifelong love, support, companionship, and a partner in raising your child.

Then you might want to stop saying such ridiculously stupid things about gay relationships, reducing them to sex only. You aren't even talking about sex, but just getting off by any means available.
