So let's get this straight - you got married four times and raised children even though you were a lesbian, and it's all somebody else's fault??

Do you always blame everything on other people??

You need to start eating your porridge with salt like the Scots!

Well Fx, I really don't mind saying that I did give it a shot more times than most. Still, maybe some of y'all were all out frisky and frolicking when you should have committed to that partner!

One time a couple years ago, a man who is about my age, was interested in me. He told me, after getting to know me fairly well, that he really liked me a whole lot, but did not think he could get past the fact that I had failed at marriage so many times. I told him that maybe he was meant to give it a shot and that he may be the one who did the greater wrong, not committing to someone by now!

All the same, I have been, and yes, to a fault, an eternal optimist. Also gullible.

And in a few instances, codependent. Gaining too much delight from being someone else's happiness.

I have changed now. I believe others need to find happiness the same way I find it. IN MYSELF!!! Then if they want to share their happy selves with me, well...maybe.

All the same, I don't mind you bringing up my personal life. Who here is gonna hold my mistaken and misplaced faith in a few men against me here afterall???

Married at 13 - I thought that was illegal? Even in the 60's and even in America?

No, what made THAT situation baad was that black people were forcibly brought here against their will by a genocidal murderous race of people.

If there was any compromise to be had there it was lost the moment black people were forcibly enslaved to work the fields. There is very little in common with the obvious abnormality that is the homosexual union.

Nope, Ga just raised the statutory age from 14 to 16 in the 90's. And with parental consent I think you could marry as young as 12 or 13.

I think calling homosexual sex "unnatural" is judgemental.....

Just my opinion and thanks for fighting for LGBT rights.

Thank you for the gracious responses by my gay friends, family in the family of humanity. I am happy to know each of you.

I want to clarify that though I said that bit about "unnatural" I did not mean it in any way to insult or criticize. I am saying that attraction is ingrained as natural and what I am attracted to is what I find "natural"...thus my orientation.

OK- now I get it and please ignore my prior post regarding being judgemental.
