I for one want to go on record saying that I don't want any one to "go away". The more the merrier as far as I'm concerned. I really don't see why anyone who feels as strongly about this subject as some people claim to will "run" from the argument.

I "run" from no argument. But I've been accused of "chasing" people away from plenty of them.

I never said I was leaving.I am right here watching and when there is someone that respects the debate process and the people that they are debating,I will be here. We all have things about the other we may not like but this form is not a place for that.This is a place to debate the subject of gay marriage and related subjects. I have never known of any legitimate debates that the participants stooped to name calling and belittling

Now, I definitely agree with your last comment, ESF. I can deal with the different views and as to why (this is supposed to be a debate forum; after all). But I get just a little sick of wading through the personal attacks and insults. Too much time is being spent think of a retaliatory or instigating insult rather than explaining a viewpoint.
