Come on Forester, I gave you more credit than that....You make two specific open statements, I counter them and show just how wrong they were, and now you are gonna back down to "I was just expressing my opinion"? You gotta be kidding me.

I'm out of my mood now. But I still don't see how you can make those statements and when countered, you back off to "expressing my opinon". That's weaker than usual for you.

Let's look at the entire post then...

Am I really expected to address my views on slaughtering goats when I make every post? Be real.

Agreed...

But, fine, let me be more clear, and add in the words that I thought were too obvious to need to be said.

Here you specifically point out the intent of your statement below...

When it comes to matters of sexuality, I think it's better to deal with these things and with people in a real-world way, than in an idealized, wishful thinking way. The former can be effective, where the latter most definitely is not.

And we have the statement. As concise as can be.

Better now?
It looks like you were making the argument that people should broaden their view a it pertains to sexuality. But it seems even YOU have your own idea of just how wide that should be. Mine is based on at the very minimum purpose, physiology, and common sense. And yours? Because you have yet to separate homosexuality in any concrete fashion from the other deviant "orientations" that society worldwide also has a problem with.

I anxiously await your reply.

By the way, Gary ain't got nothin' on me. Even though he is very talented at what he does.

You have clearly been spending too much time with 'gary.'

We both know exactly what I meant, but you've made it clear you can't or won't address my point, and that's fine.

When you are out of your mood, we can try communicating again.

that's why I've used the same ignore feature on him as I've been employing on garysher on various forums for a couple of years.

That's not why you have people on ignore and we all know it. You are just a weak minded individual who can't handle opposition so you just hide behind the ignore feature to disguise your inequities.

Really? You think it was weak of me to play along with your semantic game ONLY twice before getting frustrated and giving up when you came back for round 3?

I gave YOU more credit than stooping to pulling these time-wasting 'gary' maneuvers, instead of actually discussing something.

No. I said no such thing, and I am quite tired of you putting words in my mouth.

We were talking about a very specific topic: the sexual adventurousness people who were raised as children in a straight-parented household, compared to a gay-parented household.

I find it hard to believe you can't remember, since you are the one who brought the topic up.

My comments were specifically regarding that topic, not goat slaughtering, not polygamy, not anything else.

Why do I have to explain this to you? AGAIN?

I'm tired of this topic now. If you would like to consider yourself the "winner" of this particular "fun disagreement" for getting me to "back down," go ahead.

Congratulations, you "win."
I hope it was "fun" for you.

i never said it was in the us, if verses that describe slavery were misused then how many other instances of misuse are there in the bible?
and i would like to add that the bible was written by man. were they hearing his voice when they wrote them?........... cos that sounds like modern day schizophrenia to me......... lets face it anyone saying they hear the voice of |God in there head would be locked up these days. you must agree thats the way it is today and in the past things were looked at in a different way.
