No. I said no such thing, and I am quite tired of you putting words in my mouth.

FX you have to get used to Cyn's "debating" tactics. She's quite a control freak and will only condescend to discuss topics with people who comply EXACTLY with her stringent rules!

If not she quickly walks off arms folded and pouting, Tristan-style, and blames the other person for ending the discussion!

Congratulations, you "win."
I hope it was "fun" for you.
I've studied all their techniques for years and the homosexual gang have a lot in common:

1) Avoid all personal responsibility - everything is someone else's fault
2) When you lose an argument blame the other person for not playing by the rules!
3) Re-translate the Bible using a variety of amazing cockamamie excuses (King James was threatened by a homosexual, Paul was just a whiner, 2000 years of translations are all wrong, etc)

Let's see how much longer before she pretends to put you on ignore trissie style!

I'll use it whenever the situation deems it necessary...
It's a synonym for stupid, ignorant, mentally deficient, dumb, foolish and idiot. Depending on the severity of the offense that inspired me.

What does that have to do with homosexuality. I'm sure the homosexuals back then had attraction for their same gender just like the ones we have today. I really don't see where anything has changed about homosexuals where we should all of a sudden consider them any more "normal" than the child loving individuals that strangely aren't mentioned in the Bible at all. Or are they? Homosexual acts are Biblically linked with another prohibited act that curiously IS listed in the Bible and linked in the dictionary. Hmmmm. I don't know.

I too have been studying the style of each "opponent".
They have several techniques.
You have the "why are you here crowd", they are related to the "what's it to you"'s.
One of the most annoying techniques is the never-make-statement-but posts-dumass-questions technique. I hate those because the person never takes a stand on anything.
Then you have the longass post technique where they post all kindsa bullshit that looks great until you actually read what is said. Foundit took that to a level that was commendable. I miss him.
Some people outright lie.
Not to mention the "shame" posts that accuse you of having a disorder or something.
You have the "limit the discussion to their own terms" crowd. That's what Cyn was doing...
She's such a cutie.

There are a couple others that I can't remember...But I love this place. All the different online personalities are interesting to watch and learn from. It so much reminds me of my days as a collector where it was my job to be able to read an account and within the first few words, be able to "read" a customer to see how I had to deal with the situation.
Debating is the same thing. Every opponent is different and has to be handled as such.

I've often wondered how people could have had sex at all during Biblical times. Showering was unheard of and people seldom bathed. Could you imagine the stench people of that era would have after removing their clothes? I bet oral sex was never practiced back then for the same reasons.
