Actively gay and "Christian" is an oxymoron. IMHO.

Just because I "say" I'm a white guy, that doesn't make me one. I can "say" I'm a dwarf, but my 6'6' height will give me away. Any gay "Christian" that reads the text that supposedly guides that religion and come to the conclusion that THAT religion is "accepting" of same sex romantic attraction is guilty of extreme denial, rationalization, or some other worse issue.

IMHO it would be like a black person claiming to be a member of the Klan.
(Even though David Chappelle had a hilarious skit of a black white supremacist.)

There is no such thing as a actively gay Christian. Homosexuality is a sin according to Christianity. Without repentance from your sin, you cant be a Christian, unless of course you make up your own religion, and call it Christianity.

Not in the teachings of my church - which is a mainstream Christian church.

Of course, we aren't so presumptuous and arrogant as to think that our church is the only valid religious point of view in the world.

We leave that kind of sophomoric one-upmanship to braintrusts like you.

In other words, you dont believe in the bible. Hence you are not a Christian. To each his own. Why am I arrogant? Cause I believe what the bible says?
