San Diego should be more famous for Sea World and the Zoo. And yes, the cost of real estate is sky high.

I've not heard if it is or not. You may be right about that. I suppose people here are either getting disgusted with the high cost of real estate and can't afford much more. I don't pay attention to that while I still have a house of my own.

The freeway system is also getting worse, too. Thank goodness for commuter rail.

I think it's the weather that draws most people to San Diego.

I know when I used to stay there, I loved it. Never too hot, never too cold.

The weather certainly does play a large role here. But where trouble is, no one can avoid. Just like the fires we had last month from those Santa Ana winds. I'm sure you were there when we had them.

Moving to Florida or any along the Gulf Coast? Look out for the hurricanes. Boston? How about them Nor'easters? San Francisco? It shakes a lot there. Kansas? Those twisters are nasty. You want to buy a house cheap in California? Move to the desert. Temps guaranteed to be in the triple digits for five to six months.

That's why I'm not leaving North Ga. We have a few tornados every blue moon. But there are very few weather related disasters here. And I know the ground will always be where I left it.

Georgia is really a beautiful state. I have a childhood friend who now lives in Marrietta. Such beautiful country there.

Not to justify, but maybe hate crime is rising do to the fact that homosexuality has forced its self on the main stage against the will of the people, and frustration is winning over peace.

are you suggesting that "the people" are unable to control their emotions and actions in the face of demands of equality in America?

doesn't sound as if "the people" are worthy of living in a free society.

Yes, thats what Im saying. At least as many people as it would take to raise the crime rate 8%.

Anyone who commits a crime against others on the basis of race, sexual behavor, ect ect, are not worthy of living in a free society. Thats why we put them in jail.
