I don't understand this question. What demeaning tactic? Demeaning gay people by comparing us to pedophiles doesn't seem like a diversion to me. It seems like a pretty direct attack.

Isn't that the same thing then that homosexuals like their own gender while heterosexuals like their opposite. Sexually speaking, the differences between the genders are like night and day. So why should the unions be labeled the same if they are fundamentally as different as a homosexual and pedophile. Unless you want to take back said differences.

Homosexuality and heterosexuality are not only different kinds of sandwiches, they are entire different sandwich concepts. Heterosexuality is a like a Firehouse Sub complete with all the trimmings, homosexuality is like a peanut butter sandwich.
