The biggest discriminator of all: Poor people are not the same as people with money. If you have money, most people want to be your friend. If you are poor, most people wish you would just go away.
And that's true even among gays.

If gays are soo friggin united, and they are soo motivated to change things, why don't homeless gay teens have more support structure? Is it cause they are poor?

Or do you think attitudes change over time as we gain knowledge, wisdom, education, compassion and experience?

I think homosexuality is a abomination to God, and there for a abomination to our country, and to our children.

The school does have some responsibility in making sure that functional citizens that can tolerate each other are produced. There is also a responsibility to make sure that the classroom environment is stable and functional.

If a racist does not want his child to be taught that black and white people are equal should he/she have the right to stop the school from teaching this?

'Abomination' in Biblical terms simply means 'religiously unclean.'

If you think that homosexuality is religiously unclean, so be it. It makes no difference to the country, since the government is secular, and only makes a difference to children of parents that worship tha same way that you do.

So handle each case as it arises. Is there classes teaching kids not to make fun of fat people? Or red headed people? or skinny people? We dont need the school to teach things that are imoral to our children. And the majority of parents feel that way. Why shouldnt we be heard? There OUR children.

Yea, all 200 million of us or so. And it does make a difference. We are the most blessed nation on earth, #1 cause we do more to spread the gosple all over the world then anyone, and #2 cause of helping in developing and sustaining the land of Israel. And to whom much is given, much is required. America will pay for her sins, sooner or later, for sure.

Generally, all of those subject are touched on when tolerance and diversity classes are being taught.

I don't think that the majority of people (including parents) look at homosexuality as immoral these days. Most people just look at it in a neutral manner.

Also, if I remember correctly, the majority in certain areas also objected when the schools were integrated. They felt that it was wrong and immoral as well.

Let's use your number... The nation has 200 million people that identify as Christian. A LOT of those people hold the belief that homosexuality is a non-issue and a lot of people hold the belief that it is a matter between a person and God only. The percentage of people that are vehemetly against homosexuality is dropping every year.

As I am not a Christian, I'm not bound by your particular beliefs on whether this nation is blessed or not. Interest in Israel has no religious connotation to me; pure politics.

Well if I was saying homosexuals shouldnt go to the same schools as striaght kids, you'd have a point. And your right, most people dont care, till you try to encourage there children to think its right. Half the state of Cali is in hysterics, cause of the new laws passed. Yea, even in Cali. When the hell did we let homosexuals take over this country?

Im more than aware of the moral decline on going in the country. And Im more than aware that true followers of Christ are becoming a dieing breed. Our exit is near, but till then, we must rage against the dieing of the light.
