The "lie that the argument has already been disproven" tactic. I'll have to remember to list that one next time.

Excellent post.

That's the attitude that still puzzles me. If gay sex is wrong, what is the difference of wrong between male/male and female/female? What excites a man? I'm just of the view that it either is acceptable; or it is not acceptable. There should be no middle ground.

What "excites" someone doesn't necessarily have to be "right". Just because a man can get his jollies from watching women have sex with each other doesn't mean it's right or even acceptable.
Some people get their jollies smearing poop on each other peeing on each other and choking themselves unconscious during sex, none of which I find acceptable.

I'd never want to actually know a woman that enjoys triple penetration sex, but I'll be the first one to check out the video.

That's true. Women are prudish and innocent until you get to know them. Then they can talk and think so raunchy as to make a sailor blush.

However, in my experience, more women think two guys getting it on would be gross than who think it would be hot.

Conversely, virtually every man -- and a very good number of women -- find the idea of two women at least kissing to be very hot.

I agree. I LIKE the idea of watching two chicks make out. In fact, during the crazy "second adolecense" I had after my divorce (at age 31) I would frequent bars and do all sorts of off-the-wall things. One of the "hottest" moments was when a buddy and I convinced two chicks at a bar to french kiss while we watched.

But I will never, ever try to defend that urge of mine as good, right or "normal."

I can understand that we all have our sexual fantasies. To me, "right" is not breaking any law- not what others say about it. If gay men want to go at each other; isn't that their right? I find it distasteful myself, but what law is broken? Incidentally, that was how I first developed my original homophobic views years ago... walking into a supply closet many years ago; only to find one man orally servicing another. I thought it was the most disgusting thing I'd ever come across.
Now, when I hear you guys talking about pedophiles- that's something different. Laws have been broken by such people who engage in this behavior. Not because of the Bible; but because the laws of our society

... it's not even about 'laws' as far as I'm concerned.

It's a matter of causing HARM.

Comparing homosexuality to actions which cause harm to others is simply a valiant stretch to validate irrational bigotry.

...and if I'd have walked in on people having sex in a closet, it would have turned me off, too. Of ANY orientation.

I will be honest and say that if some man was involved with a woman in that situation; I wouldn't have thought anything about it at all. I probably would have asked for his autograph! But I was much younger then.
