Oh whatever, like you guys have never used a bit of hyperbole. So just stop it.

I just went down the line of familiar names on the thread and wrote a post. Although the tone of the first post was less than flattering. LOL. Unless you like that kind of stuff...And I do...So I guess it WAS flattering.

KOS, you are right, you are an innocent bystander, I apologize to you specifically.

My question is if they live in Rhode Island, how did they get married in Massachusetts????? I wonder, in reading the article it would seem that Massachusetts requires a residency to apply for divorce, do they also require one to get married???? If not, it would seem that the couple in question went to Massachusetts to get married and then returned to RI. That means they were aware of the law in RI.

Perhaps they should consider the law of RI before they got married.

Conservatism, I repeat is not an ideology. It does not breed fanatics....But if you want men who seek, reasonably and prudently, to reconcile the best in wisdom of our ancestors with the change which is essential to a vigorous civil social existence, then you will do well to turn to conservative principles

No, we don't...Unlike others that tend to get off on putting words/actions onto other people.

You lied about KOS, myself, and others in that post period FX. You made claims that we all said something none of us did say, period. Heck...KOS didn't even respond to that thread either...So you not only pulled out of thin air something that nobody said, but you pulled out of thin air a name that didn't even respond to that thread as well.

You flat out lied FX...For no other reason then to try to make trouble. I'd expect that out of Gary...But I actually thought you were above such childish antics.

I'd like to add...I see you apologized to KOS, as you should have done...But there's still people on that list you lied about as well, that you should be apologizing specifically to as well. Don't worry, I won't hold my breath waiting on it. I doubt you'd be completely truthful and apologizing to those of us you put words into our mouths that wasn't said...

Please refrain from "hate". Hate is the absolute worst trait a human can express towards another. I can understand "dislike" or "disagree". I probably sound like I'm preaching; but you will all find it easier to get along with others (no matter what point of contention) if "hate" is not part of it in any way.

Well said Nutty. I couldn't agree with you more on those sentiments...

Only problem is, nobody even said anything similar to 'dislike', 'disagree', or close to 'hate' period...

In fact, all I actually said was that the person someone else mentioned (cause I mentioned no names period), along with 2 others (again, no mention of names), were causing me mind damage from reading their posts here...

How ever FX managed to translate that into saying I hated anyone? It's beyond me how he managed to reach that far for the word 'hate' or even 'dislike' and 'disagree'...

I was wondering the same thing. I think that the residency requirement for marraige is in itself a misnomer (Las Vegas, anyone)?

Ali, seriously, you really need to get a grip. KOS IS a member of that forum and he responded on post number 2 on the thread in question...So the sentence IS still valid. What the "F" kinda weed you smokin tonight? The sentence said not to mention the name of a person you "hate" on another forum. I never said "who" mentioned my name. We all know who did, and we all know the mention was less than flattering in that she was "left over there with Fxashun". So cut the bullshit.

I apologized to KOS because you were right, he was an innocent bystander, but your accusing me of lying and all that BS is making you look like a crackhead. So just drop it. If you want to talk about being above something, maybe you ought to start with yourself.

Your statement was..in post 3 by the way after my name was the only one mentioned...
"I think it's all that exposer to the posts by who you mentioned and his 2 buds that's doing the mind damage to me..."

The "by who you mentioned" couldn't be anyone but Fxashun(me). Reading comprehension is fundamental.

The word "hate" was hyperbole....Kinda like this whole damn exchange is becoming.

Mass changed their law to allow anyone to get married in that state whose state doesn't explicitly forbid "gay marriage". The law in RI doesn't forbid it but they do specifically limit it to man and woman. So they can't legally recognize the marriage in that state. This couple would have to be a resident of Mass for a year before they are eligible for a divorce there. THAT is one of the reasons that Mass has a lower divorce rate, only residents are able get them.
If RI had allowed the divorce, they would have opened a "back door" to allowing gay marriage in that state by creating that precident.

its religions fault
religions are always trying to decide for us how we use our own bodies. first it was bad to be left handed, than it was bad to be a different color, now its bad to be bisexual or homosexual. Its basically discrimination to say marriage is between man and a woman.
