FX...You really, really, REALLY need to start reading what you put up and comment about...

The pdf isn't from a lawschool. Period. It's from Regent University, specifically from their Law Studies Department, period. It's a university, having several courses, law being only one of those courses.

Here's a list of their classes taught:

Regent University - Academics

As you can see, law is but only one of the many undergraduate and graduate studies they have...

Read what's at the bottom of your article, from the SECOND link you provided...

Quote:
2 Unlike the other quotes from Kirk and Madsen, this one doesn’t appear in Rondeau’s article. But it comes from the same source as many of their other quotes, their book After the Ball: How America Will Conquer Its Fear and Hatred of Gays in the 90s (New York: Plume, 1990 edition, pp. 146-147).
Furthermore FX, this is also included to the bottom of the article, that you copied/pasted from, as to who owns the article...

Quote:
Copyright © 2002 Focus on the Family, as seen on Boundless Webzine | An Online Magazine for Christian Young Adults. All rights reserved. International copyright secured. Used with permission. This article may not be reprinted or forwarded via electronic means without the advance written permission of Focus on the Family, Colorado Springs, CO.
The article you are using, is created by Focus on the Family...Futhermore, it clearly states that you don't have the right to post it, unless you've got their permission to do so in advance?

I'd also like to add, that if you follow the link to where it says 'Regent University Law Review'? There is no link, period. Also, the site that the page isn't found?

REGENT UNIVERSITY-CHRISTIAN LEADERSHIP TO CHANGE THE WORLD

From their 'about page': Regent University - About Us

Quote:
About Regent University

Regent University is the nation's academic center for Christian thought and action, with a multitude of on-campus and online programs available worldwide. Our academic standards for both our graduate and undergraduate programs are high and our programs rigorous. But what sets Regent apart is our mission to prepare capable men and women to excel both in mind and spirit. Our students, faculty and administrators share a calling, founded on biblical principles, to make a significant difference in our communities, our cities, our nation and our world.
So sorry FX...Like Tristan said, your link and article have an agenda. A biased agenda at that...Trying to do the 'it's from a law university' is also being a tad bit untruthful too, as to what/who put the article out, by your own self. The PFD uses that article as it's introduction only, as well as using other information from other Focus On Family associates to do the other 30 plus pages (afterall, the pfd is actually 43 pages long), creating a dictational study of homosexuality through Focus on The Family collected articles only...A far cry from it being 'from a law university' when in essense it's only a thesis paper done by one of the students, from materials they've been directed to read and write about?

Furthermore, even the link you gave, accredits the creation of the document to Focus on Family, who actually owns the copyright to that article, that is used by Regent University...Again, a organization with a biased agenda, in particular, anti-gay information and 'proof'.

So darling....You've been told this time and time again when posting such things as this...READ VERY CAREFULLY about what/who your articles come from so this type of pointing out the obvious to you doesn't happen again...

The article is for, by, and accredited to Focus on the Family...Not owned by Regent University or even Leadership U, from which you got your article from in the first place.

Not to mention, by your posting it here on this board, without written request and approval ahead of time, you actually could owe them for reprinting it on here without their specific concent...Messy things copywrites are...I've seen several boards shut down over the years by people thinking copy/posting copywrited materials from one site to another was 'ok'...

He didn't copy/paste from the pfd, he did that from Leadership U. He just omitted for some reason, the disclaimer on the bottom of it that showed who really owned the article. I suspect, cause he knew that by including the full article from LU, the cat would be out of the bag, so to speak.

Then he did a search on Regent to find the thesis paper they mentioned, as a means to try and make it sound more crediable, while totally ignoring the fact that anyone with half a brain could trace the link itself back to the college and understand that it's an opinion piece only...Homework in otherwords. LOL!

By the way...Happy New Years!

Actually I found the PDF first. But I know some people might not have Adobe or want to open those files so I found a "cliff notes" version just as I said. The PDF has too many footnotes to C@P and if you'd notice, my C@P of the article stops with the text. AS for having an agenda...don't we all have one? When there is a link posted from "365gay" I first read the article. I don't make questioning the source the subject of my post. It's good you can trace the web site back to the founding fathers and such, but that really wasn't my point in posting my article...I was merely posting the article to show how people "sell" the defect that is homosexuality to the public. How about addressing that? Instead of researching whether the college paid it's electric bill.

And this is just another form of Jamming. So thank you for playing.

I guess if it had been an article from Harvard you would have had to point out there are Christian ties there too?

Is this the first time you've decided to say that? Considering nearly this whole site is based on such links, I again call you for jamming. I doubt a single 365gay link has a permission slip attached.

Such as this link...no credits or anything to give acknowledgment of the creator. How do we know they wanted that linked and posted? Why don't ya research that one and get back to us.

I'm pretty sure since it was mass emailed, the author intended it to be shared...and the author WAS given credit for it.

Yes, ali, really - don't you know that pointing out the facts of where an article originates (as opposed to where somebody CLAIMS it originated) is "jamming?" What's wrong with you???? Bigots don't want you "jamming," since it obviously means pointing out their dishonesty.

An interesting comment from somebody who has been bounced from one forum, had their posts turned to gibberish in another, is avoided and ignored on yet another, and is forced to spew and sputter and fume and fizzle on this one - where nobody gives him the least respect.

It would be tragic sad if he didn't deserve it so.

And if you would read the bottom of my page there is a link to forward it through e-mail as well. I guess we don't have anything to worry about them huh?

I CLAIM it originated at the original link that I listed. I clearly said here's the original text. You are the one that said it was written 30 years ago.

I'm not concerned. WHo is sputtering. I'm only answering posts directed at me. If anything it take sputtering ans spewing to make up all these lies and diversions. I only have to worry about the truth. So keep it up Mr. Mankind.

If it only mattered. Just remember you pay me close to $100k to do this. Get your money's worth dude. Oh yeah, thanks for the new home theater amp for xmas and the raise this year.

enjoy it

if I had my way, the hard-working taxpayers of America would throw your ass out on the street - but, we all know that ghetto-think, where certain segments of our society think we all owe them a living, is an unfortunate fact of life.

funny. we make approximately the same each year - and yet the taxpayers who actually work for a living don't have to pay me a cent. I guess that's the difference between you and me - pride and self respect. I guess with ghetto-think it's easy to just let go of pride and self-respect in exchange for a free ride, huh?
