funny. we make approximately the same each year - and yet the taxpayers who actually work for a living don't have to pay me a cent. I guess that's the difference between you and me - pride and self respect. I guess with ghetto-think it's easy to just let go of pride and self-respect in exchange for a free ride, huh?
I do enjoy it. But "Gheto mentality" doesn't include joining the Marine Corps, performing above and beyond, becoming a proficient electronics tech, and getting kidney failure. Sorry, that doesn't add up.

But these checks do. Lifetime. Tax-free. Cost of living adjusted. Non-income restricted. Complete with health care too. Damn what a deal. "Ghetto mentality" ain't got a damn thing on this.

Yup, he's typical. Let's see what comes next. Probably another post about "me" but not about the topic of the thread. Let's see how long until he starts to actually debate the actual topic at hand.
It was an ad hom attack ... but what can you expect when you put a post with such a hateful undertone out there?

I'm a Christian ... but I'm pretty progressive (e.g. quasi universalist, no problem with gay marriage, etc.) and I blog on Christian web sites & some good sites that discuss theology deeply. This sort of bigotry is not what Christ wants, I can assure you. I'm not trying to chastise or judge you, I once shared your perspective; but as I grew in faith I came to understand the real truth about how God views humanity and sin (real meat as Paul calls it). It's certainly not in the dogmatic legalistic way that most churches today do (if you go back and read literature from the earliest Christians, like Justin Martyr or Irenaeus, they would be considered left wing liberals by today's standards).

Peace

Actually the "boy" is well out of the ghetto. And the hardworking taxpayers owe me a living because they paid me to be in the military and in the military there are benefits that ensure if you get sick, they will take care of you.

And I find it absolutely hilarious that any one that can spin the Bible to rationalize the is says nothing about the obvious defect that is homosexuality, can try and pretend they don't understand how disability insurance works. Here's a link to help you understand the program...

So even when I DO "get off my lazy ass and work", I'm still gonna get paid. Not because I have a "ghetto mentality", but because those are the rules in place. And I don't think you have to have a "ghetto mentality" to accept a lifetime $30K/yr in tax-free money for compensation for an illness. That's crazy talk.

So if you think that taking care of members of the armed forces who become sick isn't something that should be done, why don't you call your congressman. And when they finish laughing at you, get back to me. "I refuse to allow you to make me feel guilty for my carefree lifestyle".

I'm not a "Christian", I don't own a Bible. I grew up Baptist and I'm sure much of my thinking is based on that, but I left real organized religion behind when I was 18. And I have no problem with him attacking my points in a "debate", but attacking the source or "me" is what I'm saying is blatant "jamming". Especially when they are merely attacking the source for having an "agenda". No friggin duh!!! Everybody has an agenda or reason for their actions. Probably even Justin Martyr or Iranaeus. LOL.
If you don't like the tone of my posts, that's cool, but attacking the source doesn't do anything to refute what was actually said. And I thought that was the point of us being here.

Cuttle up and read a book by Michael Weiner aka Michael Savage

Vital Signs (the book), Avant Books, 1983, ISBN 0932238203

In Savage's thinly veiled confessional novel Vital Signs, the protagonist admits he is allured by "masculine beauty", saying, "I choose to override my desires for men when they swell in me, waiting out the passions like a storm, below decks.

Don't forget that since I have kidney failure, I also qualify for social security disability. I'm sorry, you are still the only petty liar here. Dude, you don't know me.

I will admit that my $100k estimate was adjusted and approximate since I pay no income, ss, or medicare tax on my income. You should know how significant that can be.

Here's a link...And thank you for the support.

Wanna be proven wrong, off-topic, and a liar again? Keep posting.

And how has my story changed? I'm retired from the military.

My planet is more realistic than yours. I'm not the one blatantly lying and guessing about facts of your personal life. So keep on obsessing dude. I'm just reading. This is great entertainment.

Remember the title of the thread isn't "Fxashun's life".
