But it's still "stop me from being a fatass" surgery. And the fact that I got the "type" of fatass surgery wrong is beside the point of what I was saying. Should we go back then...
You said "you were more man that she would every have"...

And I say...

"Didn't you have lazy fatass surgery to take care of that."

Does that make you feel better? Or will Gastric Bypass suffice in this situation?

YOU BET.

I know many ex-servicemen who have medical problems - and have their medical expenses taken care of. BUT. They are able to earn a living and do not expect hardworking taxpaying Americans to foot the bill for not only their living expenses, but for the families they create instead of working for a living.

I have NO PROBLEM AT ALL - and would protest if it changed - with vets having their medical needs taken care of.

But, since we have a member who can type on a computer for 18 hours a day - and computer work is one of the most highly paid jobs in the U.S. - I see no reason why that 18 hours a day couldn't be spent making aliving and getting off the public dole.

It's a ghetto mentality that he's owed a living by Americans.
One more time...Even when I had a job, and I have had several, I still get paid my VA compensation. If you know servicemen that earn a living, ask them if they waive their service compensation. Don't be a total idiot and prove it to anyone reading this.

Besides, I'm only using the tax money that you and anyone else I enjoy bothering pays. Thanks in advance for my next new car Tris, my 07 Acura is getting old. Everyone else buys jets and bombs with their tax money.

What service is required for a life-long pension in the service?

Not mine, any taxes my wife pays come to me. I don't pay any federal or state income tax personally. But I'm sure your pay is the total of many people's yearly taxation. Between the two of us, Tris better get to sewing on those damn quilts.

I gave a link, did you read it?
If you are military veteran with a service-related disability you may qualify for over $2,471 in monthly benefits. These benefits are paid to veterans who have injuries or diseases that happened while on active duty, or were made worse by active military service. It is also paid to certain veterans disabled from VA health care. These benefits are tax-free.

I rather like the $12,000 a monthly salary by working better.

What is that bring home? About $8k? Then you have retirement savings and all that other stuff. I'd take the $12k a month...but not the risk of getting my ass shot off and being away from my family. Well worth the difference. And it's not all that much of a difference when you look at up-to-date figures...that figure is off by a bit. But I'm happy if you are happy.

What "up to date" figures do you refer? Take home about $9K. A "real man" can take the risks - a bit of a crazy one too.
