I had a brother-in-law that tried that Iraqi work...He lasted 2 months. Scared him sh@tless.

I had a neighbor once that did oil rig work. He was my hero. If ever there was a "man's man" he was the one. He could do any friggin thing. Carpentry, electronics, brawn, whatever. So I appreciate you saying you make $12k a month. You earn it. And as far as I'm concerned, I signed on to protect the country, and I got sick. The rules say if that happens, I get lifetime compensation. I earned my pay as well.

Yeah right! I suppose that next you're going to tell us is how you've lived in a tent, bathed with bottled water, and had to shit in a hole in the ground all the while claiming that "I've lived in worse"; and, "It doesn't bother me." I suppose if you made more than $2K a month you would give the excess to charity all the while claiming "I don't need anymore than that."

Go ahead and continue to post shit like that as it serves as a source of amusement to me - just don''t think you are really fooling anybody with you declaration of contentment on living of $2K a month.

If you live someplace you can survive on that, more power to you.

2K a month would just about rent you a decent apartment in my city. Of course, you couldn't eat, have cable tv, internet, a phone, a car, any insurance, or pay any utilities. But you could get an apartment.
