Oh come on now Tristan! Everybody has do deal with offensive foley that might be steered in their direction. It's really not that bad you know. Yes, metaphor, as opposed to literal truth, is designed to express an idea - not a hard facted law. This is one of the primary reasons I am a UCC member as well.

I disagree, the rule in the bible, repeated several times is that same sex relations are an abomination. It didn't say straight guys shouldn't screw other straight guys. Or gay guys shouldn't screw straight guys. It says women should not screw women and men should not screw men. Period. It didn't say straight men shouldn't screw animals but it's okay for zoophiles either.

And that was my point in my post. The laws that catch pedophiles don't say pedophiles shouldn't touch children in a sexual manner. It say no person should touch a child in a sexual manner. And in that, they exactly correlate with the wording of the Bible.

It's absolutely amazing the irrational convoluted thought that the homosexual mind can contrive to try to find normalcy in the face of the obvious.

Dude, you are on crack. You must have the abbreviated version or a Homible or something. Because everybody else that has a Bible has a copy that says...
Lev. 18:22, "You shall not lie with a male as one lies with a female; it is an abomination."

Lev. 20:13, "If there is a man who lies with a male as those who lie with a woman, both of them have committed a detestable act; they shall surely be put to death. Their bloodguiltness is upon them"

1 Cor. 6:9-10, "Or do you not know that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived; neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor homosexuals, 10nor thieves, nor the covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor swindlers, shall inherit the kingdom of God."

Rom. 1:26-28, "For this reason God gave them over to degrading passions; for their women exchanged the natural function for that which is unnatural, 27and in the same way also the men abandoned the natural function of the woman and burned in their desire toward one another, men with men committing indecent acts and receiving in their own persons the due penalty of their error. 28And just as they did not see fit to acknowledge God any longer, God gave them over to a depraved mind, to do those things which are not proper."


And it clearly goes a little further than what you just said.

If wanted to get into a circular argument, I would have posted much more than just the passages themselves. You, on the other hand depends on a circular argument since any direct one would expose you for the fraud you are. Such as several posts about the source of my links but not a single post about the material it contains. And calling you cronies to help. Sad. What version of the Bible are you using? That Homible because your's seems to be seriously defective.
Thou shalt not lie with mankind? That makes less sense than the regular Bible(depending on what "regular" means it seems).
