Actually his statement jibes very well with what you guys attempted with my marketing thread.

"What's good for the goose" they always say.

If I had a "study" that favored the nuclear family published by and one of the "Family" organizations, some of you would have a gaygasm trying to refute it by using the source.

It's asshat crap like this "study" that pisses me off about both sides of this debate.

There is a difference between a scientific research - and an op/ed piece.

Conservatism: Self-centered mean-spiritedness fueled by ignorance and misguided self-importance.

Bigotry is a social disease.

Legalized same-sex marriage almost certainly benefits those same-sex couples who choose to marry, as well as the children being raised in those homes. - David Blankenhorn is president of the New York-based Institute for American Values and the author of "The Future of Marriage."

Where is the research?
Not a reference link or anything to the specific "research" to be found.

Tristan, as you well know, I could do a google search and find some stupid study that says just the opposite. You need to stop putting so much credance in whatever "findings" the scientists have come up with lately.

Would please fucking define "PW?" As if we're all supposed to know what that means.

Yes, and you should continue to allow their "wisdom" to guide your life as well. After all, they are learned and educated men. Tell me, how would you react if some "study" came from a reputable institution that said gay relationships are harmful? You would attack the source, of course, because it's saying something you don't want to believe or know is not true. My only point is that you take today's "findings" with a grain of salt as many of them will surely be disputed in the near future.

Based on the non-descript article you posted nobody would know!!

But if you feel you can elucidate then feel free.

I'd love to know how these anonymous researchers define "healthy relationships" and how they measure them.

And how did they factor the high incidence of AIDS and suicide in the homosexual community into the equation?
